DING 80

Well, I finally did it!

I managed to finally get one of my characters to end game... AGAIN. Technically, this is my third character to reach "End Game". My first was my mage, Gwion and the second was my protection warrior, Oakstout. But that was when End Game was 60, then 70. Now it's 80.

For now, Oakley, my paladin, will be my main level 80 character. I do hope to move my mage and warrior up, but right now, I want to focus on getting gear and other fun toys, like my flying drake. I did spend the 1,ooo gold, yikes, and dual spec-ed my paladin for damage as well as tanking, at least till I can get my warrior to 80.

I would like to thank fellow guild members Wtfrostshock, Silenced and Ax for helping me achieve this goal. They dragged me through the Culling of Strat last night at 12am and promised me a ding and I did. Thanks go to them for the great team effort and support. (tear)

Well, that is about it. I have lots more to say this weekend and some of it is WoW related I think, so stay tuned.

Oh, on a side note, I did manage to see DRAG ME TO HELL. Question, is it possible to unsee a thing?

  2. Gratz man!

You don't really have much farther to go if you want to get into heroics and then raiding... if that's what you want to do ;)

  3. @Thallian I'm posting a review for you right now and I hope it answers some questions for you.

@SmakenDahed I was really bored at the end of BC, but with the new way to rep grind in WoTLK and Wintergrasp. I think I'll have tons of fun at the top.

One of the more interesting things that I have noticed is there are lots of PuG 10 and 25 man raids going on now. It seems that most of the smaller guilds will just pick up friends from other places and go do a run. This keeps things light and there isn't any stress, which I think we can all use. Less stress that is. lol

  4. Nice job hitting 80! I wonder how much longer I'll be 77 before I eventually try WoW again?

  5. Its not for everyone that is for sure. I've gotten a little bored since reaching 80. It seems not many people want a level 80 ret pally coming to do instances with them, since if they are 80 too they are gear hunting, and if they aren't then you'll blow their xp.

Lucky for me, I have a great network of friends who have made sure I dont' waste my time sitting around fishing in Dalaran. They have me out doing dailies, Wintergrasp, Battlegrounds and now Arenas, which I really suck at. But the good news I'm gaining honor so I can buy cool PvP gear, which is something I have not done before.

Its all in how you want to view your game. It can be a challenge or a drag, you get what you want out of it. I'm a big believer in that philosophy.
